Estézargues 'Les Oliviers' Côtes du Rhône
An unfiltered Côtes du Rhône, the wine has ripe red and dark fruit aromas, and that characteristic garrigue pepper note. Lovely softness in the mouth, with velvety tannins and confit fruits building across the palate, with hints of tobacco and leather. Finishes with a nice spine of acidity from the Syrah as well as some spicy blackcurrant fruit.
Try with grilled tuna, lamb chops or couscous with roasted vegetables. Also rather nice lightly chilled.
