'A Cheesemonger's History of the British Isles' Signed Copy & Cheese Selection
A rather special selection that we've put together with Ned Palmer as the perfect accompaniment to his essential 'A Cheesemonger's History of the British Isles'.
Ned's book is a fascinating walk through the varied and colourful history of cheesemaking in these islands, including a wealth of historical and contemporary photographs, anecdotes and observations.
The selection includes a paperback copy of the book, personally signed by Ned especially for us, tasting notes put together by Ned, along with a selection of his (and our) favourite cheeses:
- Gorwydd Caerphilly - a West Country classic, made with raw milk by the Trethowan Brothers in Somerset
- Stichelton - Joe Schneider's beautiful Stilton-inspired blue from Nottinghamshire
- Montgomery's Cheddar - the Cheddar
[Image for illustration. Selection does not include the boards or the knife, but you can buy the knife separately here if you wish, and the small board here]
