Starvecrow Traditional Method Cider 2021
Sparkling, dry, traditional method, fine cider.
A blend of hand-picked apples grown in southern English orchards near the coast in East Sussex. A place where apples have been grown for generations but are now appealing to the growers of grapes for wine production in the UK. The apples in the blend grown by Steve Reeve are Braeburn, Jonagold, Bramley and Golden Delicious, and are well suited to a famous production method in wine, and also cider - the Traditional Method.
A delicate nose, with crisp apple and lemon notes. Palate is dry and fresh with bright acidity and fine strings of bubbles rise up out of the flute.
Pair it with creamy curries, grilled meat, mushrooms or vegetables.
