Little Pomona 'Hard Rain Siegerrebe' 2021 Ciderkin
Sparkling, dry, fine ciderkin.
'Ciderkin' is an old style of drink, traditionally made with a second pressing of the apples and the addition of water. This ciderkin is made with the juice of Dabinett apples, which is then racked on the skins of Siegerrebe grapes for 10 days.
Pouring a hazy green/yellow colour, with elderflower and stewed gooseberry on the nose. In the mouth it is lightly effervescent, citrusy and fresh, with flavours of preserved lemons, orange rind, tart gooseberries and dried flowers with subtle but distinct, damp clay like tannins.
Perfect for a summer day. Serve cold with some mild cheese or charcuterie. Serve very well chilled and pour carefully or slightly rouse the sediment before pouring.

All subscriptions are delivered free using our national overnight service.
If you'd like to collect your order, simply choose 'Shop Collection' at the checkout, and a time and date that's convenient for you.

We send our national online orders in one of our brown cardboard gift boxes. Orders using our local service are delivered in our shop carrier bags, unless there's a gift message, in which case we'll pack it in a box for you.

All the packaging we use to send our online orders can be re-used, is biodegradable or fully recyclable.
